SugarGhost
Two for One
DESCRIPTION
SUGAR and GHOST, two sample-based drone and noise makers available in one package. Full Version of Reaktor 6 required.
SUGAR
Is a granular re-sample synthesiser loaded with 24 atmospheric Flintpope samples from the set SUGAR on Sounds.com at http://bit.ly/suGaR
PLUS 24 identical samples in a second identical sampler.
PLUS XY control over delay and reverb parameters for use on the fly.
PLUS LFO mod on various playback parameters.
Experimenting with Speed and Grain Size settings via modulation can create interesting results.
Known issue: Slight popping/clicking on attack part of the envelope on some samples. This is an issue that drives me mad in Reaktor. If anyone has a workaround please let me know.
Users' own samples can be loaded via the Samplemap. The sample names display will need to be re-written, or hidden via the Structure Pane in Edit Mode if required.
GHOST
Uses exactly the same set of samples loaded into a loop sampler with fancy playback options then the identical set is doubled up into a grain sampler (the “GHOST”) for manipulation with the usual controls. Think of the sound “straying into the light”. Hint hint.
USP on this one is the ablity to change waveform colours (whoo!)
Known issues:
1 Slight popping/clicking on attack part of the envelope on some samples. See above.
2 Occasionally a waveform refuses to reset between snapshots. Again, a common Reaktor issue; anyone know how to fix this?
Users' own samples can be loaded via the Samplemap. The sample names display will need to be re-written, or hidden via the Structure Pane in Edit Mode if required.
