Reaktor 6

DESCRIPTION

This is CRUDE.
A simple, hands-on, drone box.

Features:

Two wave table oscillators. Each with 84 selectable waves and octave, semitone and fine tune control.

Bit crusher (affecting both oscillators).

Two distortion controls (gain). One for each filter.
Can be set to be pre- or post- filter in View B.

Two LP filters with Cutoff and Resonance control. One for each oscillator.
Filter slope can be switched between 12db/oct and 24db/oct in View B.

Three LFO's (one for each filter and one for the output amp)
with Amplitude, Frequency (rate), Pulse Width and Wave Select control.
Wave Select options: 1) Sine 2) Triangular 3) Pulse and 4) Random.

Cross fade/mix control between the two post- filter signals from the oscillators.

Chorus effect with on/off switch, delay, depth and rate control.

Master volume control.

On/off switch. This is NOT a kill switch for the audio signal.
Filter feedback and modulation may still be heard when this switch is turned Off.
It functions as a switch between 'Drone Mode' (ON. A constant C2 note from the Oscillators) and 'Play Mode'. When turned Off, CRUDE is in Play Mode. Keyboard input and ADR envelopes are engaged. Envelope controls are available in View B.

Major credit and thank yous to the great Bolabo a.k.a. David X, who did a rebuild of the oscillators. You should totally check out his stuff here in the UL, and on his website toyboxaudio.com.

Credit and thank yous also to Michal Gasiorowski. The filters i used are a slimmed down version of his amazing "Screaming Ladder Filter" which is available in the UL in Blocks format.
Send him some coffee money if you like it.

Enjoy!

Off topic but how come you removed the Hershman Filter Tank Bolle? Thanks.

I like how this is progressing. But I can't help drop the ez Randomizer from the UL in there; yes I hate messing with your purdy GUI, but though I like twiddling/tweaking knobs, I also like the crazy surprise. Speaking of - this GUI is TIGHT! I've paired this with other soundscape devices from the UL to great effect. Love the rhythmic internal. Thanks!

Both envelopes work fine here. Oscillator section 1 and 2 are exact copies of each other, so there shouldn't be any problems.

It's possible that the master volume level of Reaktor is saved with the ensemble. I did not know that. I reuploaded to avoid further confusion.
