DESCRIPTION

Laserbrew is a totally new approach to reverb effects and doesn´t try to simulate the reflections of a real room - it´s actually based on a physical model of a damped string and went the PSP PianoVerb way but it now goes far beyond that: It´s able to produce everything from lush organic washes to resonant modulated outta space effects.
Great for everything special, no matter whether it´s electronic or acoustic.

It´s quite a CPU hog, so be careful.

Update: Minor fixes and a few new presets.
Update: Modified some presets and added spring reverb preset (as a dense and dull alternative to my Spring Tank).

I've used this off and on, now I use it a lot. This is really fantastic - a tuned resonating all-pass circuit with really weird feedback and nifty features. Thanks, belatedly.

I noticed CPU use can be reduced with reducing voices. Sound degrades a bit and the effect comes thinner. With 10 voices = 22,7% CPU, with 4 voices = 11,4 CPU. With 1 voice 8,7 CPU but effect is thin and reverb quality low. Excellent effect.

have been using this for some time now, and i must say its certantly the most "inspiring" reverb ive ever encountered, and i find myself using it more often than many of the big name/big dollar verbs in my studio. it has an otherworldy quality that takes that one step beyond just sounding like a real space, and this...i like

this reminds me of that giant cylidrical lifeform that makes whale sounds from that old startreck movie where they go back in time

this is now the best reverb I have. And I have a lot of different reverbs! I used to spend hours setting up patches on them but now I don't even bother, the presets in this are all I ever seem to need, I love the way it sustains, to me it seems completely unique in the field.

run some textures, take the wet/dry to 100% wet, and tweak the snaps morph - your lobes feel like they're being massaged by a super sexy space vixen from venus...

Nice effects... could use more snaps... I especially liked some of the sounds generated just by changing snaps... I'll have to look into recording some of these accoustic glitches :)

This is great! any chance of turning it into a runtime? It is quickly becoming my favorite reverb in protools, but the overhead of loading Reaktor as well, is kind of too much. In general, this is my biggest issue with all these wonderful Reaktor effects. Some of them are as good as anything by Waves, but they take too much memory as is. If possible send to beluga at interspecies.com (add the @)

The most ideal reverb ive ever used for wanting to get anything other than a room reverb sound. Sounds fantastic and textured. Better than any stand alone reverb plug ive used for that matter.

Feedback and the P4 is funky because of how software has to add a small number in constantly to get around the P4s denormalization problem.. or so I heard. :-) Freakin Intel man...

Thanks for your feedback! John-Paul, that seems weird to me, it shouldn´t do. Is it the same for all presets? What if you use the wav file player as input? Maybe a P4 problem, I don´t know... :-(

Your ensemble seems to create almost instantaneous feedback on my Win XP - P4 2.0 GHz system - not sure if it's an R4 bug or something in the ensemble - thanks for sharing your creation :)
