Instrument Sequencer

DESCRIPTION

Step Sequencer meant for Drums or whatever! Please read text panels on the instrument for more details. Highly experimental no snaps, only one for the demo, and not many tooltips... sorry! Included with SickBaastard (by Stephan V ..cheers dude) just for demo purposes. I'm working on a version with a drum sample section, better GUI, and more efficient event handling. Until then some people may find this useful!

Update: Changed the Sick Baastard snap a little to sound a bit better, updated the decode macro, and just used the snap randomise to create the snaps which can work quite well =)

Added a 2Osc version which includes a Note Off Adapter Macro for using with other pre built synths! It might work aye!

1.4 Added Internal Midi CC control version (demo with oki and baastard) to quickly link Mod values to knobs etc no wires needed... again just realy thinking out aloud here.

nice simple solution. have you checked out lazyfish's mplex device?

If you use the midi version its probably best to change the hold time from 3000ms to something like 5000ms in the CC macro so you have more time to navigate to the knob you want to control and click midi learn before a control signal is fired!!!!

Awesome! And I hate this voting macro it votes as soon as you release the vote number, and I wanted to input 10, and it gave a 2. !!!! So you know I wanted to vote 10 cause I am having lots of fun with this one.

Right.... added a 2Osc version for ya! Has a Note Off adapter macro and should simulate a mono synth like with Baastard. This was not what this was intended for but seems to give very strange results.... which is good.... especially with randomize..... I think.... I'll shut up now!

I meant Sick Basstard AND the "1-Osc" ... TBH I'm not sure how well this will work with other pre-built synths! (note off problems spring to mind) So tinker away. It was originally just for Limeli... cough cough erm a drum sequencer, but can used to control pretty much anything I've since found (with a bit of range audjustment). If you come accross any more good match ups let us know!!

I'm really just a tinkerer not a "builder" so bear with me - it seemed that with the second oscillator active that either the note off message wasn't received or that it was continually being re-triggered causing an annoying clicking. so I just deleted the second osc.

Why not have them both =D

thanks for this - I replaced the Baastard with 2-Osc (actually deleting one of the osc's so I guess that makes it 1-Osc) and liked the results

Yes Mate.... The mod values output in order (1a,1b,1c,2a,2b,2c) and then merged into 1. In the decoder the single stream is fed into a couter which counts the events 1 to 6 which control the router position sending the original values to their original position. Ive just updated it (the order got all messed up in the first one) so that G events (which arrive after the mod stream) set the counter back to zero, so theres no need for a modulo anymore.
