A generative music suite with built-in synth and midi-out
Opus is a polyphonic generative music suite made for generating ambient music. It features for four independent modules that have simple synthesizers with waveforms that can be cross-faded between one another to create unique tones. Each note is randomly generated using a pseudo-random algorithm, these value are modulated to be within a set range and base, and that note is then tuned to fit a specified scale.
The 4 modules employs 32 voices to allow notes to be layered over each other.
Each module features an 'midi-out' and an 'audio out' button. Turning audio out off and midi out on will mute the synthesizers and send midi notes to an external midi instrument.
