Klein OSC
Experimental "4D" synth
DESCRIPTION
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Klein_bottle
Reading the Wiki article on Klein Bottles, I saw the math for the 4D flat torus model and thought that it would probably make some interesting noises built out in Reaktor. Here it is.
Version 0.6:
Still saving to get R6 and make the core into a block. In the meantime I've added Pulse/PWM and a few new snaps. Cleanups and other tweaks.
Version 0.4:
Moved most of the logic into the Core cell, in preparation to make the Core cell a Block (when I can save up the money to get R6). This saves quite a bit of CPU.
Added the ability to use my breath controller to control the various envelopes (CC2 button).
Reduced the pair of scopes to a single one, but you can now select all possible modes (XY, XZ, XW, YZ, YW, ZW and every inversion thereof).
This will probably be the last version before I convert it to a block, since I really like the idea of using better osc, env and fx than what I've rolled here.
Now to save up for R6.
Version 0.3: turned from an experiment into an instrument. Mod-wheel and pitch-bend support, per operator (what do we call these?) effects, more snapshots, and general improvements. Plus a bit of UI for those who care about such things.
Makes good noise!
