DESCRIPTION

An oscillator based on the Microwave II/XT.

V1.3 - Fixed an issue with FM modulation via mod B and added automation parameter labels.
V1.2 - Added table modulation per popular request (have mercy!) and cleaned up a few very minor issues.
V1.1 - Fixed some minor graphical and textual errors.

I created a monophonic subtractive syntesizer, combining some factory modules, a pair of devices I created with blocks, 2 costom LFO (normal Bento Box with a retrigger button), USING TWO MICROWAVE OSCILLATORS. I cretited the oscillators to Sandy Small (that's in fact the creator of the heart of my synth)...my question is: CAN I UPLOAD THIS ENSEMBLE ON THIS LIBRARY? I repeat: it's made with 2 custom Sandy's oscillators! In the case I can do it, all the credits will go to him...

Wonderful Block. Was just about to buy a Blofeld, too. Now I can wait, or even abstain.

As a Waldorf fan and heavy user of the Blofled - a HUGE thanks to you Sandy for bringing this into the Reaktor 6 blocks realm - Woot!

I'm not experiencing this in standalone or in plugin format, so I'm not sure what to tell you. Sorry.

Great osc! Really nice addition to the library. There's some weirdness around tuning at different sample rates though. It seems if you run at a higher sample rate than 44100, the pitch also changes?

This Oscillator is amazing. It teams perfectly with the Driver Filter. Total 5 star Block. If I could make any request or addition to it, it would be modulation over the Table parameter.

I thought the tables seemed familiar :-) where i was going with the table modulation: I get it will be 'jarring' my use case is an algorithmic patch where different musical sections use different tables - I'm thinking more sample and hold and square waves to select tables than smooth transitions across tables. Sometimes harsh changes are good! Anyway don't worry if it's not your thing - still an incredibly useful block as it stands! (glad you liked the track BTW)

Wow, thank you guys for the overwhelmingly kind words! Mark Williamson & Christoph Schmid-- I am not particularly keen on the idea of modulating the table selection for a couple of reasons; I aim to please though, so I'll think about it and, work schedule permitting, I might upload something later this week (I can pretty much guarantee that smoothly crossfading between tables is not going to happen though regardless. Not that that's necessarily a bad thing.) And Mark, I really enjoyed your track. Thank you! Jeremy Crow-- The tables were exported from Nave (it's essentially the same content between products, although the interpolated last few waves in each table might be new--I know the PPGs which the first few tables come from didn't have this). They come in 8192-sample-long chunks of 32-bit PCM audio (mostly--I had to experiment with byte order and bit depth for a couple of them) with a few bytes of header information, which was stripped out, and the files concatenated. A few very loud tables had some issues with wraparound distortion which I also cleaned up whilst putting everything together.

+1 for table knob modulation (i posted a track made with a patch using 4 of these on the forum https://www.native-instruments.com/forum/threads/making-music-with-reaktor-live-and-in-the-studio.63796/page-16)

This is fantastic, thank you very much! An chance that the "Table" knob could be modulatable in the future?

ah lovely - just been working on a patch for a track using 4 of these - just the ticket!

This is excellent! I thought it would take weeks before the first good wavetable oscillator showed up. Here's one the day after release. Awesome work.
