DESCRIPTION

Browsing thru a great collection of oldish downloads (from a years-ago thread on top User Library devices I can't locate now…HERE: [thanks herw!]: https://www.native-instruments.com/forum/threads/10-best-reaktor-ensembles.2179/), I found that many of them had level issues on my current R6 system, so I tried dropping the classic factory-library limiter FlatBlaster in behind them, which to my ears helped a LOT, making them all instantly much more fun to play with.

In the course of that, I found one true stand-out called Piano III, which is not only a really amazing physical modeled hammers-on-strings device and prepared-piano-maker, but even includes the ability to strum and scrape across virtual wire-wrapped strings using a mouse or track-pad…which unsurprisingly led many commentors, back 8 years ago when it debuted, to rave about it. I too loved it especially after leveling out the volumes with FB and even adding some extra EQ and delays via other factory-library classics, all quite carefully levels-tweaked to suit my snaps, and then started making some snaps in the prep-piano vein, since the original (here: http://tinyurl.com/hay6t22) had only one.

So, that's why this snap upload also includes the ensemble plus the extra processors I mention, in the assumption that others might also find these helpful in enjoying or reviving this venerable and true UL masterpiece…and if I'm wrong, about the add-ons to anyone else's sensibilities, well, there's the snaps saved out separately, too. I'd love to hear what anybody else comes up with using the very rich controls on this amazing thing…

Made in 6 with only components from 5 and below.

Loaded as instrument snaps they do work! Thanks again, for both the snaps, and for pointing out some great ensembles! The library has become a daunting place for explorers, and any help navigating is appreciated! Maybe it's time for a new 'best of' thread?
