Multi Engine FM Synth
DESCRIPTION
Featuring Two FM engines and a "Chaos" engine, this synth excels particularly in styles such as Garage, Grime, Lo-Fi, and Psy-Textures. The removal of certain parameter controls limits the user to what is available on the panel, to allow for Tweaking only within the boundaries. Despite this, the range of sounds available are broad and often experimental.
The Chaos Oscillator is positioned in the chain such that it can be the heart of the synth, or a minor sound addition. It fluctuates wildly through the octaves with no regard for tempo or consistency. Mixed in at low volumes, it ensures a gritty texture that will remain unique for every note ever played, at higher volumes, or even by itself with the main engines disabled, it becomes a more experimental effect that remains in key and can be shaped and controlled with downstream processing.
