DESCRIPTION

This instrument is another type of drum cruncher. At its very root, you can reorganize the beats in a sample. But it's true calling is to mutate beats into glitchy fun. Make sure you look at the instrument panel rather than the ensemble panel. It may be loud due to distortion effects before the output.Here are some highlights:* Select which 16th slice of a sample plays at any beat.* The main sequencer can be played backwards* Control the playback rate for any 16th slice (sequenced)* Have lots of fun with pitch controls* Load it up, hit play, be happy.* Works well with many sampled beats. Also can be fun on short movie samples.

The sample I loaded into this has evolved continuously over the ten minutes I've been exploring it. Nice beat-mangling tool. Would be interesting to try to map real-time control to it and see what can be done with beats on-the-fly.
