thanks eric :) the edit column is used in conjunction with the knob at the top of it and the buttons under the step numbers to form some sort of editable matrix, so you can edit multiple steps on multiple rows. activate the steps by pressing the buttons underneath(they turn red) then activate the row (with the associated button in the edit column, red light next to note number comes on) and turn the knob. as for the one column, if alt is on and you hit play (for the first time or from reset) the row will go from first to last then last to first, unless the button in the one column is on, in which case it will go from last to first, then first to last. as for drum/percussion sounds, i think its a lot of fun with Le Truc.

I am liking this - one of the charms is that it doesn't have any sounds or presets with it and ultra low cpu. It took awhile to figure out, though and I still can't figure out what the 'edit' and 'one' columns are doing. Otherwise this is nice to drive my external drum box in a different way and works well within Sonar for me.

stefan, to zip the file i use os x's "create archive of" function, so i'm not sure why you would be having problems, especially if phil can open in os 9, a zip file made in this fashion does include an extra folder called "_MacOSX" or something. check for stuffit updates, if that does not work, let me know and i'll be sure to use dropzip or something when i put the version with drum/percussion sounds sounds up in the next day or two.

richard, i know i like being spoon fed but i think a lot of reaktor users would love it, if you uploaded a version with drum/percussion sounds:-)

i’m afraid i’m not sure what you mean. its not a synth (in that it makes no sound). its just a percussion sequencer that you can use to send short midi notes to external synths, or internal reaktor synths that don’t need ‘held notes’, just one note to trigger the sound/sample. it could be used to sequence a vermona drm1 (the external analogue drum synth i sequence with it) or, for example, an internal polyphonic drum sampler. the loaded images are mostly just used to enter midi note velocities, and make stupid wings... i’m not sure if that answers your question, if not feel free to e-mail me @ apoc0lips@earthlink.net

Can you explain a little more about what this synth does please? How do the loaded images get processed? thanks,,,
