if i leave random on 100% then i only get 1 shot. upon lowering random % it works again. mabey out of luck i was getting more usable randomized snaps with the original.

The randomisation here is really good, i reckon. Anyway, Santoni, if you want to incorporate my snapshots into your ensemble let me know, I've got about 50 really good snaps lined up here. Andreas a [at] thecovertoperators [dot] com

Santoni, if this is as fun as it looks I will make it my personal mission to hook you up with a good set of snapshots! Thanks.

i agree this somehow better than the original. the LazyFish clock is much better. it also looks much better. HOWEVER!! i feel quite a few people will not explore this, because...there are no snaps. btw, Brinkmann is a genius.

it's brinkmann week! ;-) nice. i like this more than the original. one thing: your randomization controls don't work right on my system. setting amt doesn't seem to affect the amt that's already set in the snapshot window. your code looks fine. i made a variant of yours with slightly modified control ranges (to optimize randomization) and an amt control that does work (though it doesn't use your beautiful display). if you want to see, let me know.
