DESCRIPTION

Simple spectroscope (using 2048-sample FFT). Feel free to modify, improve, or beautify.

This instrument has been uploaded as a proof of concept for the FFT macros, uploaded to the Macros\Math section. (But it's also pretty useful, and it works well).

v2.0:
- Fixed frequency range bug.
- Freeze button.
- Gratuitous beautification.

v2.1:
- Removed coherent averaging (which doesn't work well).

Donovan: Please please do. Lots of cool things could still be done. And I'm not totally sure that the scope primitive is the best choice here (a mouse cross-hair for reading back the frequency and amplitude, made w/ the picture-from-hell thing f'rexample would be great). This was built (1) to show off how to use the fft macros (2) 'cause I'd use it if I made it, and (3) ok, ok, the gatuitous beautification was interesting and fun. But I've really got my heart set on other fish. You are a very welcome to do whatever you want with it. (I hoped people would).
