Multi-Destination Knob
1 knob, 8 destinations with soft-takeover
DESCRIPTION
I made this for an ensemble I'm working on so that I could have 'function buttons' when using the Maschine Controller. The demo ensemble I included gives you 8 destinations for any single knob. The destination knobs report their position back to the dummy, so that soft-takeover works on all destinations.
I'm making a complete Maschine interface in Reaktor and will upload that when finished.
Please let me know if there is a much simpler way of achieving the same thing.
INSTRUCTIONS:
On Maschine, map a knob to this dummy knob using reaktor's MIDI learn.
Then just map the knobs in the Multi-Destination Control device to and from the destinations as I have done in this example ensemble.
To make another knob, just copy the macro and then MIDI learn the next knob on your controller to the dummy knob, then change the MIDI OUT CC in the structure
If you'd like to map the dummy knob to 16 destinations, this is possible too. Just change the following in the structure:
Router
IC Sends/Receives
If then else
Change to B-View
to hide all the assignment knobs
Please note that this system is not conducive to automation since Reaktor's knobs only write automation when directly controlled with the mouse or directly mapped.
I believe the knobs came from SukAudio. Thanks for that...
