The Revenge of Bucket Boy
At last, a decent simulation of a bucket brigade based delay
DESCRIPTION
I built this after some recent discussion on the forum. My old 'bucket boy advance' delay is not a true simulation of a bucket brigade based effect. It just uses a standard high quality digital delay line combined with some nice parameter smoothing.
I decided to rectify this and have a crack at a more authentic unit.
I kept the GUI ultra simple for now - No need for fancy stuff on the outside when there's so much organic wholegrain goodness on the inside. That said, if anyone wants to design a groovy retro stomp box style skin for this, leave a message and I'll get in touch.
If you take some time to get used to the controls and get creative, this unit will reward you with a huge range of possibilities.
My favourite game is setting feedback to max, creating delay style loops using the rate and read controls interactively. A huge variety of textures and noises are possible. If it goes messy, just turn the feedback to zero for a sec., then back to max.
Thanks to Robin Davies for the excellent Lagrange interpolator.

fixed NaN initialization bug that surfaced with reaktor 5.6. Thanks to Jim Hurley aka arachnaut for bringing this to my attention.
