Reaktor 5 or lower
Other Test Area

DESCRIPTION

Amp sim using:

*Reaktor's tube model
*Salamanderanagram's tone stack implementation
*My zero latency convolution for cab simulation

I've been at this for ages, but I'm still not happy with it, so uploading it here for others to play with and tweak. It would be good to get some feedback and input.

The main problems is that the low gain sounds are just not good enough IMO. It's fine for rocking out with medium high gain.

The front end is undeveloped - this is the test area after all :)

The cab models are all called 'In', but they are all different, so click on each to hear the difference.

I would like to add sag modelling, tone stack variations, and maybe try some alternative tube models to see if the feel can be improved.

It would be nice to have a power amp tube model as well.

UPDATE:
I discovered that the first IR in the cab sim was corrupt (sounded like an echo!), so I've fixed that.
I've also fixed a bug in IR length
I've also moved the tonestack to after the last tube - this gives it more influence over the sound.

Bravo! The zero-latency convolution engine is a gem. It's easy to load and use your own IRs.
