DESCRIPTION

SquiggleSeq can record X, Y, Button movements up to 4 Bars. It outputs: X, Y, X*Y (diagonal) and Button touches. To erase a sequence press flush. Allow the green LED to go off before making other movements. To use SquiggleSeq as a simple XY pad, turn off the REC and PLAY button.

BTW, Because the buffer is saved inside an audio table the recorded movements cannot be saved within snapshots. The complexity of each parameter's position is too large to save within a snapshot array. Enjoy!

The recording process requires an ic connection to feed the buffers back into the xy pad. Those buffers need to smoothed in order to get rid of the jitters caused by the whole process. It's certainly not perfect but I'll definitely see about ways to improve it soon.

Thanks for the update. Seems like you have the xy in 'incremental mouse mode' or something. You click the xy pad and it doesn't exactly put the cross hair under the mouse.

Joe King: sorry, just fixed that issue. It records the X, Y and button positions as you draw them and this can be fed to any other block as modulations. It's listed as a LFO because recording drawing with shorter buffer length emulates a LFO.

Newbie question. How do you use this thing? What is the built in sequencer for? Why is the block having an lfo icon in the design section?
