DESCRIPTION

A distortion based on what the pickup does to the acoustic oscillation of the tine in a Rhodes piano.
Fed with a decaying sine it will sound like a Rhodes (An ensemble is also attached which demonstartes that).

Given the nature of the distortion (a soft rectified peak around zerocrossing), it is especially adapted to softer waveforms and will give very thin peaks on fast transcients (the input damping knob helps taming those).

CONTROLS :
- Symmetry : controls how much the input 0 point is offset before the distortion.
- Distortion : controls the global amount of the effect.
- Distance : controls the distance of the oscilation to the pickup. (closer= harsher, further = softer)
- Input Damp : a low pass at the input
- Output HP : a highpass at the output
- Key Tracking : influence of pitch input on the distortion (gives the distortion a more pleasant / natural / expected effect over the frequency range. Typically a Rhodes distorts much less on higher range).
