- Traktor Scratch Pro / Traktor Scratch Pro 2 / Audio 8 / Audio 10 / pair of 1200's / DJX 750 Mixer / VCI 400 / Pair of X1's / Kontrol F1... And my Music collection.
I've been DJ-ING since 1985... My first pair of turntables were Gemini Belt Drive (that's where I learned everything about DJ-ING), and a Gemini Mixer. 2 years later or so I bought my first pair of Technics 1200 for $400 each brand new (I thought that was expensive back then, boy was I wrong), and that's when I became a real good DJ with 1200's. Beat matching, scratching and cutting was a lot easier using the 1200's. Till this day I still do long mixing blends, and scratch and cut the music like I have done in the past, nothing has changed in my style of mixing. Changing to the whole digital world of DJ-ING was tough for me (very confusing & frustrating), but I learned and managed. I don't have a problem with this whole SYNC issue, I like it cause I can do even more with it... Like using effects, loops, cue drops, etc... But I do feel that everyone should learn how to beat match, cause you never know what can happen or what situation your brought in. I'm from Brooklyn, and I feel like I'm the only 1 who uses Traktor in NYC, everyone else uses Serato (which I don't have a problem with), just sucks for me, cause when I'm setting up, I have to run around the Serato users and set up real quick.Inhalte und Kontaktmöglichkeiten
