keng~

keng~'s a project by an italian producer, multimedia creator, programmer and editor based in south Italy, born in 2005 with a little IDM work named Wysisyg EP. Since 2005 keng~ played music in digital art and music festivals aroud Italy (soudhills 2007, metromaritmica 2007 - 2008, flussi - media art festival 2009 - 2010, potenza soundscapes 2009, Arboris 2012 and many more). In 2009 he started keng-prod multimedia studios and builds up a DiY professional recording and mastering studio where is collaborating with some producers and multimedia artists in various forms, keng-prod (net)label is part of this project. On the same year keng~ opened MURCOF's live for Potenza Soundscapes (in feb 2013 he was one of 10 musicians executing Europe Premiere of "A dip in the lake" by John Cage at F. Stabile Theatre). From the start his sonic interests gradually flew from IDM and glitchcore electronic experimentation towards the electro-acoustic panorama and he started insert more field recordings in his tracks. Now he shows up a multidimensional sonaural Live Set full of subharmonic frequencies, binaural beats, concrete, ethnic and electro-acoustic soundscapes flying from ambient music to darkpsy, connected by a bass music influenced sound to bring you to another world, another planet.
