    i am only using 1 x1. and this is what i have. Ch 01 cc 00 has dry/wet group, dry/wet single, and effect on - mapped to it. thats it just 3....

    Sounds like all of your settings are right. and your right. It is because the on/off is still mapped to the button next to the knob as well cc 8....
