I got a belkin usb hub from the Apple store when I brought my MacBook....
Maybe the usb 3 ports are not backwards compatible to usb 2

Yeah that’s the basic one
Ok , think I kinda noticed this on mine , goto the folder with everything in , find library and remove it ,
Delete the original folders , then open native access and download
For some reason you can’t relocate either of those , so you have to re download them
In native access reinstall previews and the maschine 2 library, native access should tell you they need repairing
What hub you got ? Are you using the same one on both MacBooks
