If it has not been mentioned:

Terrible crackling and popping noises using any audio output on Kore.

I am using 44.1K/16 bit - and I have to because I am DJing and all of my sources are 44.1K/16bit files.

Please fix this or tell me how!!!

    Thank you for any help.

    Mike

    Hi Ew,

I think it may be related to Cisco Vpn Client, I am having to use this to connect to work (two sites) and I had three bluescreens this morning when disconnecting from one site and connecting to the other site.

After I removed the usb lead from Kore it stopped doing it.

    Cheers

    Andy

It very well could be. I know I had issues with the controller and my old Intel DSL modem; I'd be consistently kicked offline at sometime during a session if I had the controller plugged in. The external modem I use now doesn't have that issue.

Thanks for the info; I'll pass it along. There's something happening that shouldn't be as far as KORE and various network interfaces go.

    Reproducible bug with ACID 6

If you load an instance of KORE into a midi track and record some notes it appears to be recording (i.e. notes appear in the midi editor) but when you finish and play back there is no sound. Attempts to bounce this down as audio result in a flatline audio file and I also tried exporting it as midi and it created a corrupted midi file that crashed several programmes when I tried to reimport it or even view it so basically I lost the whole piece I was working on.

Interestingly if you load a different VSTi in the track first (I used Claw) and record some notes, then delete that VSTi and load KORE in it's place it will play back what was recorded and you can even delete those notes and record some more with KORE and they will play back so at least I have a sort of workaround but its a bad bug that needs fixing all the same.

DELL XPS Dualcore (2x2ghz), XP sp 2, 2 GIG RAM.

Which host, Stephen? That sounds like the Logic bug mentioned in other threads, but obviously you aren't using Logic.

I haven't seen that in either Sonar 6 or Live 6.

So what is this Logic bug and when will it be fixed? I was quite liking ACID up until this happened but my demo period runs out soon.

    Hi,

I can acknowledge exactly this bug, too - it's really annoying! (FM8 is one of my favourite NI instrument - it sounds great, though ...).

Can anybody say that there is a solution for this big problem? Is it fixed now? Or do we have to wait until KORE2? ... :-/

    Question for EW

    Hi,
Happy (and sorry) to see that I'm not alone to have pbs saving and reloading presets and performances.
I still have the pb even with the last update.

Ewistrand, NI has announced they will discontinue the support for Kore 1, but it appears there are still bugs and rebugs (as the sheep of Pixar that bounds and rebounds):
    1. Is there any hope to have - one day - a bug-free version of Kore and Kore audio driver for users of Kore hardware 1 ?
    2. Are Kore 1 and Komplete 4 Windows Vista compatible ?
    3. No link: what is hiding the huge promotion on Komplete 4 ? Komplete 5 or new major versions ?

    Thanks

Kore + Guitar Rig 2 + Foot Switches or Pedals

I want to use the guitar rig looper in Kore. I have assigned a button for Record and another for Stop. I have made them both type gate with action down. This makes the looper work correctly when I use the Kore buttons. Then I assign these buttons as Footswitch 1 and Footswitch 2. If I then try to use the foot switch it causes the Kore button to flash on and off rapidly and guitar rig keeps switching between record and overdub mode. I have been told this is a bug in the software from NI, but no fix yet. The pedal doesn't work either, it jitters back and forth.

After having had KORE 1 work great for 2 weeks, it is now crashing my PC in XP. The KORE interface won't read correctly, won't get passed loading phase...

However in Pro Tools 7.3.1cs5, it is working fine, so far!

Is the KORE interface or the KORE software crashing the stand alone version?

I'm running a Dual Intel PC, 2 gig RAM, 2.13 speed

I also have the bouncing-toggling footswitch problem like JackQDeezn. I've tried with multiple footswitches and cables. The footswitches are useless at the moment. I hope NI takes care of this problem soon.
