Sorry for the negative post, but I'm disappointed to find that the group routing to sep out problem is still present in 1.2

The fact the routing does in fact work and that it's only the routing *status* that is incorrectly shown is not really the point - it makes working with groups & sep outs highly confusing.

Mods, can you confirm this is still an issue in 1.2 please.

    Many thanks,

    Ben Tisdall

I think I'm encountering the same/similar problem. Or perhaps I don't understand the grouping of individual samples well enough at the moment...

Currently, I have different samples mapped to different keys in the mapping editor in a single instrument. What I'd LIKE to be able to do is assign different samples to different outputs on my soundcard (which has 8 outputs). Could someone explain what I have to do to get this to work ? Is it possible to do it all within the same instrument or do I need to use separate instruments ?

    Thanks!

    Hi Ben,

i've got to confirm that - it's still a known issue. I'm sorry that it hasn't been fixed with 1.2. Other things took more attention during the betaperiod and it wasn't able to fix these minor cosmetic (but nontheless annoying) bugs without delaying the update even more.

    I hope you understand that.

    Regards,
    Ronny

What is the problem, though? The actual displaying of multiple Outs?

This may not be the full extent of the bug, but I can say with certainty that:

Using Kontakt as a VSTi, selecting different groups to different outputs works, but the *displayed* output for *all* groups assumes the value of the last one selected.

    e.g.

(with edit all off, module routing to 'group', three groups named a, b & c)

Select group a & route to sep out 3

Select group b & route to sep out 4

Select group c & route to sep out 5

Now go back to group a - it appears to be routed to sep 5, but is actually routed to 3.

    etc...
