The Mod wheel patches in the Kirk Hunter Solo Strings giga library now imports properly in Kontakt 1.5.2. This is a major improvement, since these patches are the creme de la creme of the KHSS library. So... a big praise and banana size smiles directed to the Kontakt development team! :)

The only remaining issue is that there are glitches in playback when switching between the sample groups, but this is perhaps easily fixed by the user (I havent investigated further).

Overall the 1.5.2 version seems pretty good and in general the steady pace of improved versions makes me happy that I chose Kontakt as my main sampler.

    Minor issues found:
    - Kontakt does not remember its window position (OS X) which requires moving the window upon startup because the bottom is hidden under the dock.
    - Help Text still not working

    Big remaining issue:
    - The microscopic fonts used in the GUI (not the browser). But I've already posted about this earlier. Simply put: A slightly larger GUI would be nice - long editing hours requires a lot of squiting even at a pretty low resolution, 1280x1024 on a 19".

    Cheers,
    Wirebird

with regard to the GUI, i do sometimes wonder if any of the developers have actually seen Kontakt running on OSX with a high rez LCD (1600X1200 in my case)
you have to get really close to see the tiny font - not vey convenient when you're trying to play a keyboard
the browser font option was welcome but only addresses half the problem
