do you mean External Keyboards?

do you mean in Ableton Live?

yes if it is MIDI Channel 1

i don't know if it is MIDI Channel 2, etc.

Still cant find the SOUNDS TO MIDI NOTES

Hey, I know this is explained here, and I have searched and searched all over, but I cannot find the menu inside of maschine to change sounds to midi notes. Should I have maschine opened seperatly, or can I accesses this menu if I have maschine open as a VST in ableton? I know I am probably missing something painfully obvious but PLEASE help. This is the most frustrating thing i have ever done.

Ok, I am using a mac with a external soundcard.When i right click on the group nothing happens. I can hit the down arrow but I do not get the option of sound to midi batch setup option. I am not sure what I am doing wrong. I can hear the VST in ableton when I play it but I cannot record the notes.

 

which version of Maschine are you using?

have you loaded the VST version - not the AU version of Maschine into ABlerton Live?

please upload a screenshot of what you see when you click on the Group down arrow.

wow, so I was under the impression I was using 1.5 however that seemed to be the problem. I can now register the maschine midi inputs. My next issue however is that currently playing patterns are not recognized as midi inputs. Only when I hit individual pads does the midi track register. I record patterns into maschine but I cannot then record those pattens into ableton. Is that not featured yet? Also on a side note is there a way to control maschine sounds with my usb keyboard while the maschine is loaded as a VST?
