1.6.8 Update - Dropbox Sync replaced by iCloud Drive

From the App Store Update Notes:

- Dropbox Sync has been replaced with iCloud Drive. Traktor DJ will use iCloud Drive to back-up the BeatGrids, HotCues, BPM and Key data of your tracks for safe-keeping. If you are using more than one iPad, iCloud Drive will keep the data in sync across your devices.
- We have addressed a bug that incorrectly displayed the number of tracks in your collection.

So, the big question is when will the iCloud Sync be enabled in Traktor Pro?

 

have my doubts regarding Traktor Pro, as not each T Pro user has an iCloud account/drive (PC Windows), right ?

btw: i will at least compile and publish an updated 'TraCoMerger', the current version does not support iCloud, next version will support (works already on my dev system, but must update documentation before publishing)

 

If they own an iPhone or iPad they likely have iCloud, as it's free. For Windows just install the iCloud for Windows app and you're done.

 

good point, thx! It seems also possible to register for an Apple account also without any iOS device, using itunes or any Internet browser to create an ID, then access iCloud via web browser.

 

I was able to update the iPad app but for some reason iPhone was not updated. Shouldn't it be available?

 

No, Traktor DJ for iPhone does not support iCloud Drive yet.

 

It's free...to have a shittily small amount of space!!!
