Sowri I'm not comparing them identically what I'm saying is some of the features those two pieces of software should have been integrated kore 2 had great multi-instrument functionality and kontakt has great timestretch like I said in another post Native Instruments discontinued a midi player a while back. They have what they need for Maschine. Now I see they made 2 new controllers smdh... They should have added a swivel screen. And the thing about it not being a DAW will hold it back. I give them credit for making the controller work with the software but I also take credit away when hardware from the early 90s still has features that the software doesn't. Also no MP3 support wtf...... The makers of Traktor wtf are they doing? The hardware is dope it's the software man the software.

Well obviously your complaining. Why not just sell the NI gear if you don't like what their doing? Your cracking on traktor, but yet you could always switch to serato right? Real DJ's who spin records don't whine about DJ software. They make up for it with the skill levels of spinning records. Now that theirs a new controller, their are no more excuses not to make music now. I'm guessing this update for 1.8 is bad because it doesn't have mpc export? :S

Lol another bandwagoneer yo check it out homie I'm not complaining I'm pointing something out. If you don't think the point is valid that is your point. I never said I wasn't making music. I wasn't ragging on Traktor either maybe you should actually read what I said. I have an S4 and I like it. I don't like the fact my Maschine can't control the remix decks though. You all hale Native Instruments bowing down kill me. I bought it it's mine to use and form my own judgement. Do you guys write people who give reviews on your favorite gear when they don't give it a 10 out of 10? Don't drink the kool-aid yo.

So does this mean it's close to release? The controller says it's incorporating the 1.8 features so ...

I've never understood the idea that you can't complain about something w/o catching hell for it. Sucks because I really like maschine but it's fair that people are wondering about the update.

so all the nay sayers saying no new controller have been silence where is noiserot? i done to u 2 or 3 threads ago a new controller was coming with 1.8, and u chimed in very aggressively an non-nonchalantly about me spreading rumours and now what say u?

how does that humble pie taste mayne

also notice how the pads are not just blue and red like the micro they have added multiple colours and a data wheel, and u knuckle heads will still deny there is no correlation to the moves ni have been making and the imminent release of the ren? u are lying to urselfves.

Why deadline? The hardware has, regarding the important funtions, only slightly changed. Almost all feature will probably be avaible on the old hardware as well. You sound like like the old controller does not work after October...

i sound like the new controller will be shipping with 1.8 so we must be getting it before hand. simple english on my end not sure why'd you turn it that way, i also wouldn't be getting that new controller so im not sure why you'd think i'd be damning the old one.

True, it's not currently, but I think many of the updates people would love to see would make it more DAW-like. Maybe the focus should switch from things like "it's not a DAW, you get no audio track support" to "Hey, the hardware is just a controller, we can theoretically make the software do whatever we want it to."

Spelling doesn't define intelligence and the point still stands, the naysayers were wrong.

Will you eat some of that there pie? ;)
