2.0.2 ? Anyone upgrade yet? Thoughts? Impressions?

that's very odd, maybe try uninstalling and reinstalling

 

Scratching is diferent with Play On and Off,with Play Off the wave moves faster...?right?so if I want to backspin like in previous versions,I have to hit Play then backspin.
I'm using a VCI-100.

edit:just tested Audio 2 DJ 3.0.0 drivers for the last 30min, and they're OK,CPU meter is below 40%/60%,a few peaks red but no pops, using FX,3 decks playing, scratching on 4th deck latency 256samples,will try and lower it

did some further testing.....
and recognized the following, the crackels always happen when switching to a layout with no mixer and no equalizer and no cf view. i have called this view "pure".
simply the decks.
for workaroud i have modified this "pure" view under mixer - mixer layout i have activated filter+key+gain+cue+balance (the middle option) and now i have no crackles while switching layouts.

strange isn't it?
could anyone reproduce this?
i am not sure if i should file a bug report on this...

ive updated today (traktor pro 2) atm im using the Numark mixtrack controller for some reason its deleted the mapping for the controller and also the crossover and A and B Gain's have also left the scene, its on the screen but nolonger works,

when trying to remap the controller in traktor pro 2 it wont save it and continues to switch back to Pro 2 settings

Help getting annoyed as i had it running sweetly before!

 

A last someone having similar issue to me, using latest version with Numark stealth and the Volume faders have gone (they are there, but the fader knobs are missing) Gone back to using Traktor Pro for now

 

i think i have updated my software but traktor still says its the first version in the information tab.

service center wont allow me to download the update again.

can i get it from the website? or do a re-install somehow?

wow...i cant belive all these issues im seeing...I have none...and im no computer ninja, i know no secrets, and lastly i have no issues at all...Im sorry for all of you that have issues....but i use TSP2 with Maschine and X1 on a weekly basis... LIVE....i have 2 radio shows a week and gigs just about every week....i use timecode vinyl (thank god they fixed that shitshow)...and i use an revamped version of Endos midi setup on the Maschine (including a page for sample deck use) ... i scratch, use real vinyl, remix, resample, hot cues, EFX, sample decks, etc etc etc...I dont know if im just lucky or just blind to all these small issues that can be avoided by just working around them. My setup gets used at clubs, raves, my studio, and even arenas with live sound setups all the time...ive never had a issue with drop outs, crashes or have had to worry about any of my **** running smooth. I had no problem playing at a SOLD OUT Dub Nation last weekend with over 2000+ people, nor was i nervous about my **** crapping out....We even ran 2 TSP2 setups on 4 decks with a midi cable connecting the Audio 8s sending tempo clock from the master side to my slave side....worked perfectly.....we killed the show and not a glitch to be had....


IDK...maybe i can help some of you out or something...like i said...i am no OSX ninja, i know nothing extra, or have some sort of magic on my side....i simply have a 13 in. (mid 2009) MBP, with 8 gig of RAM, and a 750 GB (7200rpm) HD....i run TSP2 with a Audio 8 and a X1 and Maschine.....nothing extra ordinary......If i can help please let me know...im not trying to sound like a dickhole or an ass...but it seems many of you are too picky?/ IDK....PM me, FB me or hit me up on AIM if i can help.....

ran 2.0.2 instead of 2.0.1 today for about an hour with no issues( before i had a problem where the deck stopped loading tracks). Will keep testing.....

 

I'm guessing you are on a mac and you start traktor from the dock icon. The dock icon does not get updated when you install a newer version. Go to your applications folder and start the updated version from there.

 

sorted after fiddling around for a couple of hours its simple

to sort out the gain and x feeder knobs so their back just run through setup wizard again with your controller etc and we're back!

hey guys. i'm a new user to TSP2, just wondering how to update my software on my Macbook. i've downloaded the update file and i double click on the install package and then get this message:

"Cannot proceed with this update, because the application cannot be found in the stored installation directory.

If you have manually renamed or moved the application, move it back to its original location, then start this update installer again. Alternatively, use the original full installer to reinstall before using this update installer."

Any ideas on how i can install this update ? i installed in the default system file folders. Suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

tried again with audio8, when cycling through layouts i get pops, no matter wich latency settings even at higher ones, changing my "pure" layout as described above eliminates the pops totally and i can go to a very low values with audio8 also.

sure.
after a not predictable time the cpu meter starts pulsating and underruns appear.

even though i have to admit that simply mixing regularly with no 20 minutes playing a loop in deck c lowest lat settings are possible.

I only really started using TSP2 (version 2.0.2, didn't give much time to 2.0.1) yesterday after I figured out how to match bpms without sync in timecode.. the waveform thing is a bit mad.. cant understand how the testers missed that

 

I am sorry that you are having all these issues but i can honestly say i have none of these issues.
