2.6.7 Update

There is an update, 2.6.7, and no one even bothers to open a thread about it..

NI, why do you think?

One single bugfix is called update in these lands anymore..

1 single bugfix and it is coming 2 - 3 mounths..
And it is called "update", not hotfix or bugfix or smth..

I am sorry to say you are going down, you not notice that?

Your way is wrong, my opinion.
Give your creative people decision power, and lower marketing people decision.
Your marketing people sucks, but your creative people rocks IMO.

Alpert in their defense I am glad they took care of this bug asap. I didn't notice it but several here did and it would have been less then desirable to leave it unresolved for a more major update.

They called it a hot bug fix let's not get to wrapped up in the numberings they use, they are just numbers.

 

but he is right....marketing is the most important to NI. that´s my opinion too.
the new hotfix, update or whatever called, causes several crashs in my system.

No arguing the importance of marketing to NI just saying it is nice to get fixes sooner then later. I would rather encourage that behavior then beat NI over it.

 

I was kinda hoping they would add features like drop and drag mp3 format which is handy not just wav as its so common now regardless of quality of mp3's.Also since the update my device sync even between other midi software/hardware and maschine link now seem so much out of time even though they say they are sync'd the latency is a lot worse in this build l am finding.

 

It's a "Hotfix", not a normal update. No need for a thread although I understand and share the frustration.
Not that I don't agree with the fact that development is slower than a turtle race but hotfixes are common and not something to complain about, imagine you couldn't load your project samples and the software wouldn't give the "missing samples" error, that's a serious bug that deserves an update, period.
Let's complain about real issues and not hotfixes. There's already this hovering idea that the forum and another 1 or 2 other specific maschine communities are a bunch of whining people that are never happy with anything and complain no matter what... not a good look IMO.
