2.6 is failing to recall Maschines compressor side chain inputs correctly after loading saved project.
    Made a beat in 2.6
    saved
    reloaded
compressor side chain input source set back to None.
    Great work Beta testers

If reproducible.... You'll never know if that got reported by a beta tester or not (but probably not, from my experience most closed beta testers don't report faults, they just wanna play) as they are all under NDA. Win win.

I'm not a tester which is why I didn't sign up, and I probably would not have caught this, so I'm not laughing at the beta testers for missing bugs like this...

still this comment was funny though.

I've tested this quickly, and I cannot reproduce this.
For me it's working correctly (OSX 10.11.6, Machine 2.6 stand-alone)

    Thanks
Seems it's only doing it when the compressor is on Group not Sound
    Mac 10.9.5
    Maschine Standalone

The group side chain recall issue is known but unfortunately was not fixed prior to 2.6 release.

I assume your talking about the Beta because i've had no trouble with it since updating to 2.6
Just loaded up a beat that was done before update and it remembers all my sidechain inputs.
Hey Ho back to work i go

Oops there goes the NDA LOL ;)

Always respected you, but I have a heck of a lot more respect for you announcing that here if it actually was discovered in the beta.

NI still isn't engaging much in confirming bug issues on these forums so it's nice somebody is. I've almost given up.

Okay, I had not tried myself with the release version and was assuming you where not talking about a beta version. In the future, do not assume the last beta is what will be released. In some cases they may do a last minute fix and QA it internally without going to beta.

Edit: See below. I tested and the issue is not fixed in 2.6 release.

Sorry for the confusion but the issue is NOT fixed in the latest 2.6 public release. I just checked the release version and the bug is present. The issue only affects groups set to side chain input so you may have only checked when routing a sound as input when you last had success. The developers are aware and this issue should be fixed in a future version.

It's not been explicitly stated, as I'd expect it to be, so my guess is no, though I haven't tested it for a few versions.

This is misinformation. As I and others have already explained, it's not just an upgrade for Jam at all. But it's clearly not an update that interests you, which is just the way it goes and that's that.
