2.7.4 is out

I also have the same issue but on Maschine MK2. Shift function does not show pattern load selection. Any solution? I am not on the latest 2.7.5 update...

 

The MASCHINE 2.7.6 update we just released a few moments ago fixes this.

What do you mean? The context was "is there anyway to view my pattern on the screens while I am recording it?" and that now is on more menus/screens and actually require less button presses...

 

I have to see on my controller. I am not in front of it right now. All I know is... before all you had to do is press arrange/pattern and you're there

 

You kind of a quoted a post about events and selected/deselect and your complaining about arrange/pattern now requiring more clicks, I don't see the connection unless I am missing something.

As far as patterns I don't know what you mean what you mean, the Menu works the same as before with the exception of it now showing the MIDI data which is great. You're probably talking about using Shift+Arrange to change from Ideias View to the Arranger, but after you do it once then you're no longer required to use Shift and a single Arranger press will work.

 

I havent touched the software for a few months. When i turned it on i was experiencing a learning curve. Arrange/pattern got me into midi view on the hardware screen ... since the new updates i couldnt figure out how to get that option. Thats all...I never post to say negative about N.I... i am a fan. It caught me by surprise though... some of us dont have the time to stay current with the updates... but when you go to make a quick beat because its been awhile and notice things have switched up... yes its frustrating

Not arguing here, just trying to eliminate any misunderstanding you may have. I am not NI, you can say all the negative things you want as far as im concerned as long as they are facts. To avoid confusion just read the release notes when updating, sometimes they are not very descriptive but give a general idea without wasting much of your time reading it.

 

I can see where all the confusion is coming from. Keep in mind I am not using mk3 controller... I am on the studio, so there is no events button. So for me there is probably a few more clicks.

I am just trying to figure out how to see my midi notes on the screens while I record from the Maschine Studio controller.

 

There is an events button on the studio , by the transport section,
I get ya tho , still getting used to it

 

Before I hit arrange , select which pattern with the <> buttons , then pattern
Now I have to hit arrange , select pattern, and then hit events and then deselect, select,
It also doesn't work the same , you now have to select the pad of the notes you want to edit , before you could select each note one after the other with the <> keys pressing back first would take you to the last note

 

also the real plus is to select the events with the knobs..this is really handy and keep me more and more on the controller with no need to use the mouse...really great

 

Is that the mk3 ?

 

I have studio and jam but in the event section I guess it works the same with Mk3. Either using pitch knob to select in the piano roll or there is knob 1 and 2 to select start and end of events. Really precise and fast. I think it's a new feature or maybe I never figured this out before....
