Solved 2.8.3 Software Mixer graphics bug

Since 2.8.3, the mixer on the software no longer displays things correctly. The second AUX send gets cut-off half way, see pic:

 

Noticed that too.

This bug is visible only in Groups Mixer view when I/O is turned on.

 

No problem in win 10 pro. Both sound and group.

All is fine in OSX.

 

No problem in Windows 7 Pro 64-bit

 

Ive noticed a lot of weird things happening now with software and hardware but I can't be bothered to write them all down or report them.. ;lots of issues with maschine Studio for me.

 

Yeah, it's weird. I'm trying to replicate it, but can't quite get it yet. Starting fresh with an empty group replicated the issue, but after adding an instrument like René must be Unique did fixed it. Now when I try it on another group, it seems to come and go. I'm really not use to working with it this way yet, so it might just be me.

 

So, yeah it seems if you only add effects, you can't fully see it. Once you add an instrument it fully drops down.

 

On the first images I showed, everything is fine.
In the meantime my system has been equipped with a different GPU and the problem can be reproduced. No sound or FX loaded.
If the midi button is activated in group mode, the image will not be adjusted properly.


In sound mode you will not be bothered by it.

Yeah I guess I can reproduce it with the groups.

 

With what GPU does it not work correctly?

 

I've got the same issue. Using Windows 10 and nVidia GTX 1060.

 

Well, that's a lot of reports so... Tagged as a bug.

 

I noticed the same issue on macOS Mojave 10.14.5. Pretty minor.

 

It worked well with the Intel HD 3000 GPU.
Because I had graphic problems with Massive X, I equipped my system with an Asus nVidia 710 1GB.
The (Asus) driver that I use now is version 397.

iMac 5K (late 2015) with AMD Radeon R9 M395. I don’t think it’s GPU-specific though. It looks like a simple height calculation error where some combinations of visible controls don’t take one of the segments into account.

 

I'm still using 399.24 because it works well. When I installed this PC I tried the latest driver and had several issues with it like crashing when I switched my monitor off and back on.
I then read that many people had issues with the 400 series drivers and that 399.24 was the most stable version for them.

 

I was thinking it could be an Nvidia specific issue but since you have a AMD GPU it's not.

It also shouldn't be driver related because on mac's there are no drivers for GPU installed externally, they come with the system unless people use unsupported GPU's wich is extremally uncommon.
