I do a bit of 4 mixing and worry when I am looking at my files library (DJ crate) and not the 4 decks that are playing.

I would love to have a 2nd monitor plugged into my laptop
1 showing the 4 playing Decks
&
1 showing my files library (DJ crate).

 

would be useful for studio use, but not to sure about gig use.... Nonetheless... +1

waste of programming resources -99.99% of DJ's don't take a second monitor to a gig

 

90% of my gigs I do off of 2 decks but on the odd 4 deck gig I would find it most useful.

You might not use a 2nd monitor ever and good for you, but I would.

Re-route the preview player to play out of the "aux out" on the audio 10 if you want to preview folder/file.

 

I'd like to have multi-screen support, even if it's just for messing about at home where there is a spare 24" monitor

I do this too - it's great to assign the monitor out to somewhere easy to audition a track

 

I had asked for this before, I would like to be able to post the play list to a monitor that the public can see, we cater to social / ballroom dancers that always want to know what is coming up and what dance style it is. I would like it to have a panel on top showing all the details of what is currently playing.

I'd absolutely appreciate multiscreen support. With increase of features TRAKTOR inevitably became less clear.
It wouldn't take much programming. I only want to drag the browser list (or other elements) to a second screen. This would give much better overview. And those projecting their screen could hide the browsing from the crowd.

For most gig I'd only use the one but for the odd gig I would find it useful to have a 2nd.

I bet for alot of people there are features on TSP that they never use but would you say that they shouldn't be on there?

Pete, have you considered 17" laptop? it has enough estate for 4 decks + library

I also wish to be able to have the library on a detachable window and be able to move it to a 2nd screen. And the use case in live environment would be ipad with air display - just think about the touch control ...

but in the same line of thoughts - a Traktor remote control app for ipad with library view mode, amongst the other sweeties, could do the same. If you ask me, I'd vote +1000 for an iPad app which can also display the library.

 

+1 here to and its easy to program to just make a option for undocking the browser playlist so u can move it anywhere u want it.
