on my mpc its as easy as
    seq1 tempo 92
    seq2 tempo 89

    then goto song mode

    seq2
    seq1
    etc.

how do i get two tempos on one track with maschine?

    Can't be done :(

Tempo is project specific as far as I'm aware.

another shortcoming of MASCHINE. good one. I like to see these come up cause then they can be addressed.

I dont see a workaround for this.

I do. Use Maschine as plugin or sync to external clock.

    but not in standalone huh?

maybe they could change that, and make the tempo, per scene not per project.

    peace

Why one tempo per scene? NI better do it right the first time and make a tempo track like in a DAW. That way you can make tempo changes gradually.

well to me scenes are used as parts, intro, hook, etc.

so that way each scene has its own tempo,
if ppl dont want to change keep it all the same
or change which scene you want to change.

    graudally change tempo?
i understand, so then you can "fade" tempo changes
anywhere (middle of scene) you want right?

i wonder if mpc could do it that way gradually?
i havent ever need to try it.

either way, maybe ni should focus on standalone just as much as plug in.
personally. i just came from all hardware. as far as beat production goes.

    mp's my daw
everything into mixer, mixer back to mp, mixer to hardware tascam digital track recorder w/ burner

only really touched a cpu for vocals, never midi so
so all this software stuff, is pretty new and not that easy for me

i do have s1 pro and cubase studio 5 ready to sell one and then really learn stuff

Right. That sounds less mechanically than all of a sudden go from 89 BPM to 92 BPM.

Yes. They should create a tempo track!
    A must.
