Resolved 3.3.0.35 doesn't load iTunes (Music) play lists.

I upgraded macOS to Catalina and installed Traktor Pro 3.3.0.35 on my MacBook Pro Late 2016, but this version doesn't load Music.app play lists.
It shows "loading" for 10 or more hours, and looks stuck.
Is there any way to fix this?

 

Try reading the DONT INSTALL CATALINA message above - it's listed as not working

Does the latest beta version load "Music Library" instead of old "iTunes Music Library"?
"File Management" in settings of traktor allows to set only "iTunes Music Libray". So, I wonder if Traktor refers to "Music Library".

 

It loads the music library not the itunes library but only on 10.15.

 

Removed plist in Library and Traktor Settings.tsi in Traktor folder, but it still doesn't work.
I'm looking forward to trying next version.

we are currently investigating the issue. How big is your library in terms of songs/playlists?

 

File Size is 460.1 MB.
It has over 45,000 items.

we verified a similar problem with a ~100,000 tracks library and it took 8+ minutes for Traktor Pro to load the library through the API.
Good news is that our latest beta - Traktor Pro 3.3.0.45, at the time of writing this - is able to correctly load such libraries, bad news is that the iTunesLibrary API provided by Apple is ssssslllooooowwww. We double-checked with both another popular DJ software and a minimalistic test application (both using the API, not the old XML) and found out similar loading times (the DJ app took way longer than 10 minutes to show the tracks).

To this time this sounds more a "known issue" than a bug to us.

I confirmed that 3.3.0.45 could load my Library too (It took 10 or more hours though).
I hope future version will be better and fix loading issue.

Unfortunately there's not much we can do in Traktor Pro as the bottleneck is the iTunesLibrary API.

We will report the issue to Apple and discuss if/how we can improve the performances.

With the mess Apple has made of the Music app, it will most likely take a while for this to get sorted out.

 

3.3.0.56 improved the speed of loading Music.app Libray.
In the previous version, it took over 10 hours, but current version is so fine.

I'm on Catalina, Traktor Pro 3 (3.3.0.108) and just migrated to Music and my library is taking ages. Library is 37855 songs, 360.1GB. Traktor has recognised that it is 'Music' rather than 'iTunes' and it's saying "loading" but since i migrated it's not loaded the library. The collection is fine - the files are found and play, but right now I can't add new tracks to my collection from 'Music". I oleft it overnight for 10 hours and it didn't load. Keiichi-san mentioned "Removed plist in Library and Traktor Settings.tsi in Traktor folder" should I do that too? would that help? Is there a document I could follow for this step?
