Closed 3.4.0.150 Browser behaviour bugs

OS: Macos Catalina (latest stable relase)

- When sorting by key, keys don't get colored anymore.
- When loading tracks from within a create browser view sometimes switches back to all tracks (create shows still activated)
- When sorting tracks in browser the view jumps to top of the list --> view should stay on selected track
- Sort of creates (creates = apple music playlists) is not saved with Traktor. The columns have to be sorted every time Traktor starts new.

Thank you for your report.
1. Keys dont colour when sorting, it depends which preference you have set in Browser Details. By default its set to Only Colour Matching keys and this should colour the matching keys of the track which is playing(again depending on the in focus or master deck in the prefs). This is actually broken , we will fix that soon but you can also set it to Colour All Keys which still works.
2. Are you able to capture a video of this?
3. This behaviour has not changed, when you sort the list the focus remains on the track which is selected but of course the list is being sorted it does not jump to the top.
4. I believe Music Playlists take the sorting from the Music App each time you start refresh the list, this is a limitation of the API and I do not think this can be changed but will check with a developer.

CilentCipha I checked once again, the Key Highlighting is working correctly. I cannot see in your video if a Deck is playing but the highlighting of matching tracks only work if a Deck is playing, Keylock is enabled and the deck is set to master or is in focus(depending on the preference). If you want to always highlight the keys you can enable this in the Browser Details > Key Highlighting Preference.

Regarding the list not refocussing to selected track when sorting, this is by design but I filed a feature request to see if we 'could' change it but its not me making this decision

I just tested the key highlighting it but I can't get it to work.
I loaded a track to Deck A -> Deck is playing and in Focus -> key lock is on -> sort by key -> no highlighting

 

Key Reference is by default set to Master, not Deck Focus. So the deck you are playing need to be Master. If you want it to react to In Deck Focus you need to change the Key Preference to Deck Focus

Post a screenshot of your Traktor preferences > Browser Details page.

I noticed your key widget doesn't display the key, if you disabled that on purpose, try enabling it.

I also see you're using DVS, try internal playback to see if that changes anything.

 

I already see what it is, you have the preference in Transport > Keylock > Show Resulting Key and Offset turned off !
