Resolved 3.5.0.266 Freezing when loading tracks.

Did you, by any chance, used any effect among "Flanger pulse", "Lazer Slicer" or "Zzzurp" in this session ? I ask that because this really looks like a current bug that we have with these effects (see my post about 3.5.0.266).

Otherwise, do you have any specific reproduction steps to get this result ?

No, I do not use any of the listed effects.
On the demonstration video, I just launched the Traktor and began to load random tracks in the deck.
On the last stable version of 3.4.2 there is no such behavior and all tracks are loaded instantly.

P.S. I did not connect no one of the subscriptions beatport.

Can I ask for your computer OS, your sound configuration (any external sound card, controller..) ?
Does it happen also on previous Beta version (as 3.5.0.264 ?) or is it specific to this Beta version ?

Yes, 3.5.0.264 has same problem.

Macbook Pro Retina Early 2013 ME665.
Mac OS Mojave.
Traktor Kontrol S4 M3, but it was not connected at the time of testing.

 

That has been reported as TP-15563 .

I don't really understand what "freeze" you're talking about anymore.
In your first video I assumed your problem was that your master level had frozen to the maximum level (see your video) and you couldn't play any track anymore. This is not happening in your last video anymore.
If it was not your problem, you might have to be more precise about what the problem is.

 

Look carefully, when you press on the load to deck button, there is some delay, while in a stable version the loading of all tracks occurs instantly.

This issue is not limited to the Mac OS version. I have the same on my Windows 10 laptop. Haven't tried build 269 tough. Will do that in the coming days. If still happens, i'll drop the support tool output via PM.

 

Most likely it is associated with changing the common database of the collection.

are you experiencing the same issue also with 3.5.0.264 (available at https://www.native-instruments.com/forum/threads/beta-3-5-0-264-uploaded.455131/) ? I would ask for your help on trying to understand this better since I was also not able to reproduce the issue in house.

I work only with MP3 files and this happens absolutely on any files of this format.
If you want me to try other formats, then I can do it for you.
