New 3.5.2.279 - GUI Freeze/Delay

Delay when loading tracks on the deck (watch out the letter "A" left in the browser track list), delay if i move to another playlist (hold up/down tree navigation key), delay when i removing tracks from the playlist and copy tracks to another playlist.

 

This has been happening for the past few versions, the GUI is just unbearable to work with, always glitching/blacking out and making you feel like the program is about to crash or something. For example, there is no reason to blackout a list and display "Please wait while loading" for a mere 10ms, it just seems like a glitch and makes you feel uncomfortable while browsing or preparing lists.

 

This should be fixed in 3.5.2(beta), but it's only partially fixed. Some tracks take some time to load. This issue wasn't there in 3.4.2.

 

I agree, in my case, a delay is fixed when loading MP3 tracks into a deck, but the response of the interface when navigating and other things leaves much to be desired.

It seems to me that the problem is in the same section of the code that is responsible for appealing to the database of the traktor collection.

These Browser GUI issues are one of our bug fixes priorities at the moment but they all depends on very deep and structural code in TRAKTOR. Even if we know that's one of our major problem, it's gonna need a lot of rework. We've already started but I don't want to give any fake hope here. It's gonna take a bit of time.
