3 Suggestions

Used s4 live for the firdt time on new years. 3 things that I encountered during the gig that would improve the s4 product IMO

1 The bass spl's from my bass bin vibrated the platters during a mix and caused the songs that were synced together to stutter and skip and jump around.

2. Would like to see the pitch faders have a notch when at the zero center position.

3. The load track button needs to be bigger. Location is fine just too small.

why do you want a notch in the middle of the pitch fader..?...
this only causes issues for me on the 1210's..!

 

-1 for notch. It just messes things up when you need to beatmatch close to zero point.

 

Did you know that in browse mode you can use the larger cue button(s) to loads the tracks?

 

Danny, countzero That makes sence, point taken. I guess it's not really needed. I guess i was so used to the notch on all my other gear for so many years and assumed it was there for a reason. It does make sence to not have it when trying to lock in a mix that is very close to "0" and I would have to move the other tempo up or down so the one that was so close to "0" wouldn't be clicking in and out of the zero pitch. Thanks for reminding me of my 1200's
