    hello
my setup is mainly based on machine mk3 and jam (for launch). means: without additional daw. If I like to use several (4 pieces) external hardware synths / drum machines in the machine then I need an external audio interface to control the synths in the audio channels??? machine only has (1)2 real hardware inputs. Thanks for your help.
    greetings jl1968

If you want to hear all synths at the same time while playing, you will need either an audio Interface with 6 Stereo inputs (you could then record all at once that way) or use an external mixer with the stereo output going into the MK3 and hear all at once and record a mix of the synths. In that situation you could record each synth individually (one at a time) as well so each is on a separate audio track...

the title of your post says “3 Synths” assuming they have Stereo outputs, you would need 6 Mono inputs (3 Stereo pairs) to record all at once to different tracks...just a suggestion, you can get an AI with as many( or few) as you wish but will need to swap connections.

    Peace,
