Just stumbled onto James Walker-Hall's Reaktor site, thanks to creativesynth's links, and picked up a smashing little ensemble there called 3mod; cost $10 bucks, but it's easily the best $10 I've ever spent on musical tools. Forgive me if this is totally old news, but this little monster is like a baby Absynth: 3 osc. with FM and good filters, fx and a great little table-based sequencer that makes keyed and gated (or not) rhythmic and pitch sequences very like the Abs. envelops, but SO much easier to use. In fact, it's the best designed table I've seen yet in Reaktor. One table per snap, no undo panics, totally intuitive and fun....it's a gem. Excellent deep basses, glassy chimes and bells, pumping, grinding pads, smooth and freaking leads...and lots of snaps. There's some other good stuff there for the asking; check it out!
