Maschine MK3 user. How do I get 3rd party kits to show in the user kit section? Where should I save them in my library? Do I have to load all the kit samples in the same folder?
    Thx

The usually come zipped up with a specific folder structure, so you can just unzip to your content drive/folder and then create a path to that folder in preferences... rescan and they should show up, if there are images included, there should be instructions on how/where to install them so they show in the browser. Which TP kits are they? And what OS are you on?

I bought several third party sample packs off sides like Loop Masters and they have maschine kits included in the pack. I've been saving the maschine kits in my user library, but when I open up in the software the kits will actully show up but they won't load with the samples.

not sure how those group/kit files reference the samples, but I would put the samples folder in the same folder as the .mxgrp files,,,

    user folder
    -----kit.mxgrp
    -----Samples Folder
    --------------xxx.wav

if that makes sense. also, check for any "readme" files about installing/locating...they should be included

If you have 3rd party folder kits, then in the Preference settings > Library > User, you can add your custom folder with your samples/kit in it.
