Hi, I bought my Maschine for a guy and he had registered the product with his details. For some reason he will not comply and de-activate his name so that I can activate it myself. A few days after buying it from him I text him to let him know it was still under his name and he actually text back and said he would do it which made me think he would since he never had to text me back in the first place if he was planning on not doing so. I have the guys details and know where he works also. Really dunno why he wouldn't un-register, I'm hoping he is just forgetful or busy but it is not looking good and he has not replied to my last text. If he does not unregister the product is there any way I can use the product?

I've just r-read your post/ In the first sentences, I think you meant "I bought my Maschine from a guy".

If so, then, yes, he needs to contact NI to remove the registration from his NI Account and get a confirmation email that that has been done.

Then you should be able to register it (sending back to NI the email confirming deregistration, if needed).

If he does not do that, then your only recourse is to try and get your money back.
