4.1.3 with DP4 wont work

hi there

i installed the latest update to 4.1.3 and since then DP 4.12 wouldnt recognize reaktor as an AU instrument any more.
does anybody else have this problem?

 

I got mine to work, but it only does it in mono. The mono to stereo plug only wants to play out of the left side. works fine in logic though. but i don't really like logic so whatever.

I'm having other annoying DP4 problems as well. MOTU is not making me happy these days.

 

I waited all this time due to Ni and Motu stuff not working like I had to put up with with Absynth - I just bought Reaktor and Now I may have done the deal with a result of it not working now with DP4.....Damn! Are there any people that are getting this to work or should I not update Reaktor and live with it working that way? This is starting to sound like my old Windows issues - problem is - now on a Mac that I have never had isses with before other than with Aby until they fixed that! &$#&*%***!

 

mine's workin, but i never use mono > stereo, just stereo > stereo.

 

what do you mean by mono- stereo - I thought one did not work in stereo but it worked in mono....sorry my reaktor is on the ups/fedex truck ready for delivery here soon - so not sure what you meant by this dual mode thing - thanks

 

I just got Reaktor and loaded it - Prior to this I called NI and also MOTU - they said there was a DP hot fix update - I installed this prior to receiving Reaktor and when I looked under the instrimnet add section Reaktor come up in mono and stereo ---

I have not yet put the sound from reaktor into DP yet - I haven't had a chance yet...But so far it shoes up - Try the fix. norman

 

Is the Dp HotFix update the "DP 4.12 MAS and AU Support Bundle Update" from May 2004, or is there another one?

 

Yes I guess that was the one - the updater that is on their website at present - may 2004....I updated it first and then installed reaktor...

 

the MOTU fix does work with Reaktor 4.1.3 ... I'm running OS X 10.3.5, Reaktor 4.1.3 and R4 shows up in the Intstrument tracks list as both a mono and stereo instrument.

BTW, I had Kontakt 1.5.3 as a "no show" AU in DP, and the NI tech support people made a simple but brilliant suggestion (knowing that I had already updated DP with the MOTU 4.1.2 AU fix)...

Deleting the AudioUnit Info Cache in userfolder/library/Preferences/Digital Performer forces DP to rescan the installed AU plug-ins ... after doing this the Kontakt should be recognized.

If you've done all the proper updates to DP, etc, and the AU's are still not being recognized, give the above suggestion a try.. it solved my Kontakt AU problem.

Hi, just wanted to clarify my previous issue...

I was unable to get R4 EFFECTS in DP4.12 to send audio out of both left and right sides when using the mono to stereo version of the plug. Works in mono, works in stereo. A situation where you might use this (for those who might not be clear) is if you have a mono track, say a vocal - and you want to insert a R4 effect on it and have it return in stereo. When I do this it only returns on one side. All of them do this.

Anyone else have this?
