4 Deck Setup Traktor Pro 2.5 + Audio 2 DJ + CDJ 400's

Hello Guys!

My Set up
Windows 7 - 4GB Ram
CDJ 400 - DECK A
CDJ 400 - DECK B
KONTROL X1 - DECK C
KONTROL F1 - DECK D

i have been using my CDJ-400's (Asio) as the main audio device and so far its been great.
however now i am trying to get a 4 channels routed to my mixer, so i bought the "Audio 2 DJ" my idea was to tell tracktor to use the audio 2 DJ in combination with my CDJ400's (also external sound cards).

the problem is that traktor only lets me select 1 audio device at the time so if i select audio 2 DJ i loose the CDJ 400's and vice versa.
using asio4all to aggregate both sound cards have been nothing but a headache, i get popping sounds, terrible distorsion etc...

I am just about to buy the same setup as your... and need to know if you fixed it or if i need to buy Audio 6 insted of audio 2.

change to ASIO and turn both output soundcards on in ASIO. Doesnt work in WIN7 or mac, but works on winxp

 

What can i do on Mac?

Can i tell Traktor which DECK i want to play with what soundcard on the Aggregate? I mean i want to control DECK A and B with CDJs 400, and control DECK C and D with another soundcard, and send the same DECKS to inputs on my DJM mixer.

I want to get Deck A - on channel 1
Deck B - on channel 2
Deck C - on channel 3
Deck 4 - on channel 4

Is this possible without pay alot to buy the Audio 10, and buy only Audio 2 or 6, and use it with my Soundcards of CDJs 400

Someone tried the aggregate device? I'm afraid it won't work for my setup and i will pay for nothing and need to get new soundcard, because i can't return stuff that i opened (some rules in my country)

 

NI Audio interfaces in compatible with virtual devices

The audio 2 dj drivers and all other NI audio interfaces drivers are incompatible with virtual sound devices such as ASIO4ALL, Rewire, Soundflower, Jack, OSX Aggregate, and Audio Hijack. This applies to all osx and windows.

NI has identified this as a problem and has stated they have no intention of correcting it.

I have just made a post to the Audio 2 DJ thead of the forums explaining this issue a little more in depth.

 

Ok so they dont officially support ASIO.

what? ofcourse they support ASIO, and they do that very well. they might just not support third party wrappers. or maybe it's the other way around

anyway, such setups are a bit risky, if I were you i'd just use one interface, and put all 4 decks mono through available four channels.

 

Thats mean that i need to buy the Audio scratch 10?
This will solve all my problems?
I can still use the CDJs with USB with HID so they will be controllers? if i use the Audio 10

 

yeah, with latest Traktor update you can use HID devices, so such setup should work well

 

But when i connect them to Audio 10 i still connect them to USB and use them with HID support mode? Like in Serato Scratch Live?
