    Hello,
can you tell me how to set up 4 decks?

I already have external mixer and 2 cdj-400 hooked with Traktor Scratch Pro and Audio 8dj with 2d+ext. mixer layout but I would like to add virtual decks (c&d). How do I do that? I assume my mixer needs to be connected with Audio 8dj console?

    Thanks!

Change ur layout to 4d+ext mixer
Route ur outputs for Deck 3+4 on Output Channel 3+4
then connect the outputs of the audio8 to ur mixer channels.
To control this two decks, use keyboard mapping, or mouse, or create with modifier the controls over ur CDjs.
But than u can only control 2 decks at one time without changing the modifier

Modifier is nearly the same like the Shift Button on ur keyboard. Also a modifier can be used like a memory bit....so u can map a Button or knob once normal without a modifier for example to change the loop lengh, and with a modifier the same knob for seek position, and with the next modifier u have another function....and so on.

Hi,I have a similiar question , Are my connectoins correct in TSP?,I have 2 turntables and use my vci 100 to control my internal decks c & d ' I currently have my setting to 4d+ ext mixer ,my turntables using the regular cable setup ,and my vci connections use ch 5/6 outputs from my audio 8dj to my mixer inputs (ch 3)and 6/7 outputs from my audio 8 dj,to my mixer inputs (ch 4)now my question is does it matter if I use internal playback or scratch control selectionfor decks c &d while using my vci100? I had several crashes but don't know what caused them .thanks for your time.

It doesnt matter, every Deck can be used in Scratch control, Internal or Audio Through.

What kind of crashes? What do u do in this moment? Can u reprduce this behaviour? And did u called the support?

    Crashes on tsp1.2

Well my crashes happend when I connected my vci to control decks a& b through external mode (,which you mentioned it should'nt matter) I started mixing and all of sudden I hear a loud paused sound ,my players stop playing and traktor froze so I closed the program and restarted my computer. No I didnt call support center,I know my firmware version 1.2 of my vci has bugs ,maybe thats what caused it. This crashes haven't happend again ,I guess because I'm using c&d decks only on my vci 100. I'm ready to upgrade my firmware version to 1.3 I just received my firmware plate, but I 'm not able to find the firmware software version 1.3 to alow me to change it. Can some please help me out ? In the installation firmware video it states to find the link in djtechtools ,but I 'm not finding it. Thanks for your time.
