5.1 update bug??

1)Just tried to open the EI2XT version of Limelite with Reaktor 5.1 and found out that everything works ok exept the Tie Sampler. I tried reloading its map file and replacing it with another one but no luck. Can't understand what is the problem. The same ensemble works fine in EI2XT.

2)While Limelite EI2XT can save correctly randomized snapshots, the same ensemble doesn't store random snaps correctly if opened with R5.1. What's is the difference? I thought that it had to do with the ensemble programming but how can the same ens work fine in the EIXT platform and not in the parental R5.1??

3)Is there a way to open an EIXT ensemble (with R5.1), change its map files and resave it in order to be used in the EIXT platform with its new samples loaded? As far as I know EIXT doesn't allow the view & edit of map files inside its ensembles and if an ensemble is saved with R5 it can't be opened again in EIXT.

yeah i second this...cant belive noone answered, limelite is an amazing product and i would buy reaktor 5 if limelite work correctly in it

 

there is an updated version of El.Ins Vol2 on the update page.

this includes fixing the Tie bug.

but theres only updates for photone, cyan, resochord, and e.i.vol2 kore

 

if you have downloaded R5.1.1, you can use the new "kore" versions of El Ins Vol 1 and 2. the download includes Reaktor versions of all the ensembles as version 1.3.

you don't need Kore to use these updates.

the update_readme says:
"The update is only relevant if you use Electronic Instruments Vol. 2 with Kore."

 

that maybe what it says ;-)

BUT, Limlite 1.3 loads fine into R5.1.1 and the tie bug has been fixed.

yes. i believe more in sowari than in any official readmes ;-)
it seems that even when you use EI2 without KORE the KORE-confusion is in full effect.

 

For the record - good old Sowari [thread=32153]posted a fix[/thread] about six months ago... sometimes the search engine does deliver.

 

Has anyone been able to open the zip file in OSX? I keep getting an error when extracting.

Version 10 (as opposed to 10.0.2) is buggy - either update to the latest (which I don't know the version number of) or use the BOMArchiveHelper, which is part of OS X and accessible via right mousebutton / contextual menu.

 

Still no luck, I tried both programs. Is limelite the only thing updated?
