5 new Polyplex 1.1 "single units"

Hi guys,

be sure to update to Polyplex version 1.1 as it contains 5 new lightweight "single units" including the user version for your own samples.

One of the unique features comparing to the original PPX is that single units allow you to play them chromatically transposing the pitch.

You could find them in Reaktor's PLAYER sidepane tab in the file browser.

 

I don't see the point of having 5 of them. Aren't they just the same ensemble basically but just loading different samples? So why not just have a single one and different kits? It's not like they are differently designed drum synth modules.

 

this is a great update for Maschine owners, as we can have a Single Unit per Pad.

it is also move for Ableton owners - i an thinking of Drum Racks - and Logic owners - Track Stacks.

5 units makes it very east to mix and i would guess, is lighter in terms of CPU, if you just want three sounds for instance.

Why they did not change color in the pad's Maschine as in the Kontrol ??

Something like that

 

i am really intersted to try this... , but the service centre comes up with this error. it happened with V1 and now again with v1.1




i can download all other NI updates from service center ok.

its making me hesitant to buy it incase i can't download it. any suggestions?

Hope there will an update one day which allows you to change samples by macros in Ableton. Or is that not possible because of the Reaktor Architecture?
Many things can be Macro Mapped. Sample switching not unfortunately.
