    hi,

on the NI-homepage it says there are 10 sounds with 8 sound variations each included.....

i can only use 8 sound variations for the first preset.
the other 9 only have 1.
    what am i doing wrong?

    thanks for your help,

i'm also having problems with the '57

Hi I can't figure this out either. Also I cannot work out to turn the rotor off, I can only slow it down, which makes a really unpleasant unnatural sound. Further, the modulation wheel is not affecting the sound at all. I have tried with express keyboards b4 and my modulation wheel is still working. Have you experience this?

Even more annoying is the cpu loading. I am using a g5 dual 2.3 with 2.5 gig of ram and cubase sx3 and I can only get three notes of polyphony before it shoots into the red! Given the stated system requirements for Kore player are Mac OS X 10.4 / 10.5, G5 1.8 GHz for kore 2 I think this is really misleading.
the sounds are very nice, and I understand that each drawbar is separately sampled but, for me, this is only going to work for solos:confused:

The rotor doesn't shut off from that page at all- it's a GR3 Leslie patch that's the rotor. And, the mod wheel doesn't work because it's not B4 doing it; it's Kontakt.

I'm thinking you should definitely be getting more polyphony, though. On my Windows box (a 4600x2- actual clock speed 2.4 GHz), the patches average between 8-10% CPU depending on how many notes I'm playing.

    Hello,

we will post an update for the '57 Drawbar Organ Kore Soundpack soon, which fixes the missing variations problem. Sorry for the inconvenience!

The bug was introduced with the release of the Kore Player, as the instruments had to be edited for compatibility reasons. In other words, if you downloaded the '57 Drawbar Organ before March 6, you already have the correct patches.

    best,
    nicki

I am waiting for this to happen so I can use my voucher. Is there a time limit that I need to worry about? How soon will the update be posted?

    Sound Variations fixed

    Hi,

the update installer has been fixed, as mentioned by Nicki earlier in this thread: It now contains corrected KoreSounds that fully feature the Sound Variations. If you downloaded the update (version 1.0.1) between its release and today, please download and install it again. After installation, the package's KoreSounds, loaded into Kore or Kore Player, will provide Sound Variations.

(If you are not sure whether this is relevant for you: Load one of the organ sounds and check whether it provides Sound Variations. If so, you don't need to download the update.)

    Best,
    Cornelius.

I bought the 57 drawbar on march 11 so I assume I need the update but don't know where to find it. I checked my user area but nothing there. Thanks for the help.

It should be in the update manager here on the site; it is for me:

    http://www.nativeinstruments.de/index.php?id=updates&L=1

Make sure you have the "hide previously downloaded" box unchecked; they didn't change the date, and the server will read it as having been downloaded before.

No drawbar files in my support area at all. I downloaded again from my original email but still no patches.

    Anyone get it working yet?

I hadn't realised there were supposed to be 8 variations for each sound and not just for the first sound. I don't have them showing either and I've nothing '57 related showing in my download area - even with the hide box unticked.

Anyone get this working yet or is anyone aware if it's being looked it by NI at the moment?

If someone is reading this looking for a recommendation for the '57 pack and is concerned about what we're talking about - don't worry, the sounds that are working are sublime. If you don't want to clutter up your drive with B4 or Kontakt 3 and you need a really great organ sound (I mean Hammond) - it sounds amazing.

I still haven't heard anything yet either. I was thinking about getting the horn pack but want to wait until this is sorted out first.

I've asked someone to look into why they aren't showing up for both of you.

    Sorry about the hassle,

    Anyone get it fixed yet?

Hello all (and thanks again for the help EW). Hadn't heard anything on this issue for a few weeks - did anyone get theirs fixed or find a new file in their Sevice Centre page? I haven't anything new showing.

Does anyone know if I can go ahead and buy the Brass/Sax one - will it work without this being fixed?

Thanks for getting back so quickly EW. I'm seeing a 1.0.1 win update file dated 06.03.2008 - and it's telling me I've already downloaded it. Is this the one? Do I need to download and run it again?

    EDIT:
Just read back through the thread and I think the answer is yes - will post tomorrow if it works.
